Democratic Voter Accused of Using Leaf Blower To Control Weather

Police yesterday detained a man in Overland Park, Kansas, for using a leaf blower to ‘control the weather’.

Speaking to reporters afterwards, on a sunny afternoon, Gideon Dugan explained he’d been tidying his backyard when his next-door neighbour, “a full metal jacket Maga nutjob”, began screaming at him through a bullhorn.

“He said I was using the blower to ‘steer (Hurricane) Milton’ and that ‘everyone knows Democrats control the weather”. Dugan confirmed he had a Vote Harris–Walz sign in his front yard.

Police chief Wade Larson said “Folk round here ain’t stupid. We know we have to take every terrorist threat seriously and that’s why, purely as a precaution, we arrested a well–known communist who has a long history of wearing provocative ‘Vote Democrat’ t-shirts in public”.

Dugan later said “As soon as my lawyer’s finished with him, Larson will have to do a lot more than click his heels together, to get back in as chief of police in this Kansas town”.
