Given Rape Is No Longer An Offence In England & Wales, Is There Any Chance A Cell Could Be Found For A Sex Pest MP?
The Centre for Women’s Justice has warned against raising false hopes the sex pest and former Conservative MP for Kent, Charlie Elphicke, might go to jail.
Elphicke ( pictured above with Boris Johnson who had to be warned not to help him ), was convicted at Southwark Crown Court today on three charges of sexual assault.
The CWJ’s statement cautioned that although prosecutions and convictions in England and Wales have more than halved in three years – while rapes have actually risen – there is only a very slight chance a cell may be found for the ‘Pestminster MP’.
With this in mind, the organisation has warned people not to hold their breath until one is.
