Appointment of Sex-Trafficker Shows That While God May Work in Mysterious Ways Trump Sure Doesn’t

A statement by Evangelical leaders today says that while the appointment of Matt Gaetz to lead the Department of Justice may have baffled America, it hasn’t surprised them at all.

“What can we tell you,” the statement says, ”we always knew who we were getting into bed with?”

While many sniggered at the idea of a new ‘Efficiency Department’ being run by not one but two people – Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy – many wondered if the disgraced liar and expelled congressman George Santos would soon be made head of the House Ethics committee.

Santos himself hinted that such a move was in the offing, saying he would ‘warmly welcome a chance to steer the committee for a second term’.
