Flatlining Satire Site’s Latest Prediction Claim As Implausible As Previous Ones

‘Once again, the flatlining, generic-humour mill, known as CatMelodeonNews, has embarrassed itself with another ‘prediction’ claim about real news.

“You read it here first!”, the obscure jobseeker behind the site posted this weekend, when news of Elton John’s “last ever” performance in Sweden, was announced. The announcement came a week after the Glastonbury gig that had been billed as his “last ever” performance.

“On July 1st,” the site said, “our prediction was”: Elton John Announces “Last Ever” French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swiss, Polish, Greek, Norwegian, Swedish & Danish Performances

“On July 8th,” the site added, “the singer’s management team announced that” Sir Elton John to perform final farewell show in Sweden

Sadly, it’s unlikely the site has published it’s “last ever” story.
