Pecker Says Noem Clearly Misunderstood What ‘Catch And Kill’ Meant
Former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker says he fears Kristi Noem must not have been listening when he explained his ‘catch and kill’ policy to her, leading her to shoot her dog and then a goat.
Pecker who’s testifying in Donald Trump’s criminal trial, revealed he’d once bumped into Noem at a republican gathering where she’d asked him, “What exactly do you do all day?”
Pecker said the South Dakota Governor was, “pretty hammered” and clearly not paying attention when he explained how he ‘caught’ or purchased “bad news” stories for Trump and then ‘killed’ them by not publishing them.
“She was clearly ‘zoning’,” he said, “but at one point muttered, ‘Catch and kill? Right. That makes sense…’”
“I didn’t think anything of it at the time,” Pecker said “but then I read that just because her dog chased some chickens, she caught and killed it? That’s when I realized what had happened”
“She‘s 52,” Pecker mused, “what’s that in dog years?”
