The State’s Next Apology
In hindsight. With 20/20 vision and in the fullness of time. At this late stage. We may never know the truth. And who can say, after all this time! For it is easy to be wise, is it not, after the fact. Who will be first to point the finger of blame. How easy it is to find fault now with what was not known then.
When all is said and done, who is to say what is to be done. At this point in time. Far be it from us to say. This is not to say it should not be said. Or done. For say what you will but there is little more to be said. And at the end of the day, lessons have been learnt.
For if all had been honest with us, we could certainly have been honest with you.
