Trump Says Judge’s Fine Is “Inadmissible Hearsay”

Donald Trump says the $5,000 fine imposed on him by Judge Arthur Engoron, is “purely circumstantial” and also “inadmissible hearsay”.

In a 3.15am post to his Truth-Social platform, he said “People are saying legal arguments like these can be found in any episode of Law and Order.”

The former president did not specify the season or episode of the TV series but also claimed “Everyone in the court could hear him say the fine, that’s why they call it ‘hearsay’? this proves I am TOTALLY INNOCENT of all charges.”

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a White House spokesman said, “We couldn’t possibly comment but it does appear as if all of the voices inside his head are equally guilty”.
