We Are All Guilty In Kerry Babies Case, Say People Who Were Actually Guilty
We may never know the truth, retired garda inspector Gerry “the Sheriff” O’Carroll said recently, while simultaneously assuring the public of the guilt of Joanna Hayes.
“Sure wasn’t it a different time,” a colleague agreed, “back in the days when a future Bishop a Galway could go for a court on a Kerry beach a full ten years before all a that. They don’t call it the Wild Atlantic Way for nothing”.
“Sure everyone was at it”, another weighed in, “back in the days when nobody was at it. Bloody freezing it was though, none of your mod cons in them days. Catch your bloody death trying to get your end away.”
And at the end of the day, he waffled, guilt is something we’re all familiar with.
Thank God, all three agreed, that the papers have had their week of outrage and moved on to their next piss-fit.
