All I Need Is Reasonable Doubt In Mind Of One Juror Whose Address Has Already Been Published On Internet, Trump Says

A spokesman for Donald Trump says he is confident he can create reasonable doubt in the mind of one juror whose address has already been published on the internet but who has “absolutely no need to worry”. The spokesman added that he will “easily beat any charges arising from his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state of Georgia…I mean, from his efforts to prevent it being stolen from him”.

A statement on Trump’s campaign website said, “Jurors, you got nothing to be scared of from the 24 hour demonstration outside your house. Not if you do the right thing?“

The former president later told a rally, “I can beat this rap. It’s gonna be an incredible and very great victory. And if you’re on the jury, you have absolutely nothing to worry about? It’s a very, very beautiful thing. Sad but also beautiful. And let me repeat, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.”

The Trump campaign denied this was a reference to the fact that the names and addresses of jurors have already been posted on rightwing websites and that the defence only needs to establish reasonable doubt in the mind of one juror, for the case against him to fail.
